One of the most rapidly growing needs is that of adult day care. The Adult Day Care program at Valley Health Services provides nursing, health care and social services to area seniors.
We recognize that many adults do not require 24-hour nursing home care and have designed our program to help these adults and their families.

Under the direction of the personal physician and our on-site medical director, an individual program is designed for each adult to maintain or improve current levels of wellness and functional ability. Our staff will coordinate services with community social service organizations and other health care agencies in order to allow the adult day care registrant to remain living at home.

Valley Health Services offers the following services under the direction of the registrant's personal physician as stated in the individualized care plan:

·  Physical Therapy
·  Speech Therapy
·  Leisure Time Activities & Outings
·  Transportation
·  Nursing Care
·  Therapeutic Diets
·  Health Monitoring
·  Occupational Therapy
·  Assistance with Community Services

The Valley Health Services Adult Day Care program is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and operates under the direction of a registered nurse.

Transportation is available and can be arranged easily. Referrals may be made from individuals, family members, physicians and community agencies. Our staff will schedule an on-site or home visit to assess how the potential registrant's needs can best be served.
Charges for services may be billed to the individual or to the proper county social service agency if the individual is Medicaid covered.
